Dream Marathon
I've found THE dream marathon.
The Marathon du Medoc, in Bordeaux France.
42.195km winding between Chateaus, vineyards and rose bushes; interspersed with 22 WINE stands and some of which serve STEAKS and SAUSAGES! A tradition of fancy dress, a party the night before, during, after and the day after!
I'm breathless for having just typed those descriptions.
While I plan out the logistics, work up the courage and save up the moolah, here's a beautiful account of 1 who participated.
