Stupid male driver

Almost got into a MAJOR accident on Wednesday, and have only calmed down enough now to blog about it.

Was traveling from Mandai-BKE and got into the slip road to join into KJE. Yes, that fateful stretch.

Was already in lane 1 and everybody was travelling 80km/h with the lorries at a slower 50-60km/h in lane 2.

Saw from the rear view mirror that a maroon-ic sedan was cut behind lane 1 into lane 2 too fast, and I was wondering if he will brake in time before hitting the lorry just in front of me on the left.

And what did he do? HE BLOODY CUT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!

I honked at him to warn him to return to his own lane but he proceeded to cut more into my lane!!!

There was no way to brake with the car so close behind me, and all traveling so fast on the curve slip road. It was either
1. brake and be hit from behind,
2. continue and hit him (i wish i had taken this choice since he had obviously preferred me to die when i hit him, then for himself to die when he hit the lorry), or
3. let him in and go on to the white stripes on the right myself to save my own life.

I did the logical and took #3.

I was going so fast, and he so slow that, that at one point i was by his right on the white stripes and saw him looking at me (since i was still holding onto the horn), an early 30-ish chinese man in glasses BUT HE JUST LOOKED AWAY WITHOUT EVEN A WAVE OF APOLOGY!

#(*$*$*@#(*(*&@$^@)(#*@#&*!@##)(&#$)(&!!!!!

the car behind him gave me room to move back in, and I went after the idiot.

tailgating him with 30 cm room at 120km/h, and forcing him to go faster than he is used to, since he was wavering left-right-left in the lane.

for a good 15km from KJE all the way to my exit on PIE.

stupid male driver.

i'm gonna need to change to a bigger and more aggressive car since men since to mistakenly think that a small car driven by a girl will surely be slow and therefore can overtake easily, and even if they didnt do it safely, the girl will obviously back-off and whimper in a corner.

well. FUCK YOU.

(almost) in the money

I actually hit the target today after enduring a nervous week of flying below the radar.

Had no opportunity to offload during the contra period, and had to pay for them.

Which was just as well as prices only moved up over yesterday and today, which closed above the minimum target prices.

Still holding out...

keep ya fingers crossed for me!

to look at clouds floating by

tired tired tired.

sleeping too little, working too hard, having no fun.

oh to take a break

to rest

to do nothing

(not even reading a book)

but to look at clouds floating by

(it doesnt even have to be on a beach)

or rain falling from the sky

(or be sunny)

or to smell the breath of the little ones while they sleep,

to simply be.

Dinner at Rakuichi

Finally a return to Rakuichi at Far East Shopping Center, after Dad brought the whole family there a few months back (where dinner including a sashimi boat for 7 adults and 4 kids came to over $800 and I had to convince Dad that it WAS worth it).

This time just 2 of us, D and I. My treat to D for saving my life, and is expected to concur conjure (thx CB) up more life-saving skills on short notice.

I had ordered without a care to the price, i mean~ how much can it be? ;)

So we had
- Oysters in ponchu sauce
- grilled baby sardine sheet
- salmon roe sushi
- Sashimi moriwase with uni
- Yakitori : gizzards, chicken skin, inoki mushroom wrapped in bacon, pork belly (to die for)
- chawamushi
- clear soup in tea pot
- 300ml kubota senju
- ocha
and some other stuff.

Bill came up to $250 plus and with 10% off from citibank card, it was about $225.

Well worth it.

but next time gotta leave the car at home and drink more. ;)

Oh good grief.

gone shopping

there has been a lot of sales going on right now, some specifically asking pp to upgrade stuff using their ERS windfall.

I've gone shopping too. 10 lots of 2 counters each, current position at break-even for these 20.

But these are pretty much for speculation gain.

not likely to get burn since my golden rule is never play with what you cant afford.

Hopefully will make about a k in about a month, then plough back into long term holdings.

just pray that i wont be holding out for too long for overly ambitious profits, and then kenna hold forever.

gulp*

that void

all work and no play make J a dull girl

(not in any particular conscious order)

i miss the partying
i miss the drinking
i miss the reading
i miss the forums
i miss the running
i miss the gym
i miss my fave food
i miss the beach
i miss the cuddling
i miss the exploration
i miss meeting up with friends

i think

i am simply missing me...

:(

defeated and demoralized.

i need a drink

make that a few.

*pout*

i need a hug.

i need to kick somebody

(can you still mean poke somebody if that somebody hasnt been poking you or responding to your pokes?)

*sigh*

*kick table*

i need to get it out of the system before i go on to the road

it's raining too heavily to drive less than sanely

but then again

not that the work's gonna be done anytime soon

and there's still the arrows to be plucked out all from my body, burning logs to be removed from under my feet and the guillotine to step gingerly away from.

argh... ... ...

Diamonds are girls' best friend

well actually i've never yearned for a huge rock, i mean, they are just highly pressurized carbon, right?

then my dad went to an auction to buy some diamond jewelry on the cheap

a ring with a 1.03ct

a pendent with 1.59ct

that's the first time i've seen and tried wearing a diamond that's more than 1 ct (200mg)

I wore the ring on my ring finger and went to show E

"look"

"nice"

"but it's too big" pout

"the diamond?"

"the RING!"

DUH!

The evils of multi-tasking

Internet radio
POEMS stock page
internet Banking
Work mail replies
Budget Report
Hot Chinese Tea
Printing other report to read in awhile
MSN
Work phone

Multi-tasking = efficiency, right?

Then why does my brain seem so scrambled?

But I don't remember how to do 1 thing at a time anymore.
